We need a programmer that has made google gadgets and can make a simple one for us. It will just need to send a few pieces of information (search filters) to bring back a RSS feed. We already have the RSS feed in place and it currently can be customized by sending along query string filters, for example site.com/rss?limit=5&color=red&size=large this would then return an rss feed - all we need is the google component so we can add it to googles desktop and igoogle gadget library - we can supply all the graphics also. I am not really sure how much time it takes to do this, but I am guessing it wouldnt take long for someone with experience. http://desktop.google.com/plugins/

Since the original site is (almost completely) up and running, the next site is basically self-documented. There is heavy SQL access and the site must be able withstand thousands of concurrent users.
